Law Museum & Archives (A wing of High Court of Judicature at Allahabad), first of its kind, was initially mounted as an exhibition of judicial records during the Centenary Celebration of the High Court in 1966. The Law Museum & Archives, house objects of great historical and cultural value. A part from the landmark judgments in historical Chauri-Chaura Case of Gorakhpur, Election Case of Smt. Indira Gandhi, rare and old Farman of Mughal. The Archives contain priceless artefacts and records such as :- Manuscript of Mithila Dynasty and a letter of Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru (1st Prime Minister of India). A visit to Museum will give visitors a palpable glimpse of our rich and varied heritage.
